 Lactation Services

If you are interested in breastfeeding, currently breastfeeding or planning on returning to work/school and have breastfeeding questions, then please contact me for an individualized private consultation in the comfort of your own home or in my office.

Photography is one of my many passions but my interest in breastfeeding education began when I gave birth to my daughter in 2005. I became a registered nurse in 2004 working primarily in surgery and case management. In 2012, I earned credentials as a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) through the University of California in San Diego. I decided to further pursue knowledge in breastfeeding education to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I completed all of my education requirements in 2014 and became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS).

May desire is to share my knowledge with as many soon-to-be mothers and breastfeeding mothers as I can. Breastfeeding is instinctual for babies but can be a learned art if presented with difficulty. Don't hesitate to contact me if you are having any questions or concerns. I'm more than happy to help!

Private Breastfeeding Class

This is a two hour class for new and expecting mothers held in the privacy of your own home or at my office. My goal is to teach you skills and knowledge that will prepare you with confidence to have the successful breastfeeding experience

you desire.

Private Breastfeeding Consultation

If you are having questions or concerns about breastfeeding, such as: problems with latch, nipple pain, low milk supply, not feeding frequently or effectively, weight loss and ineffective pumping then please contact me so we can correct your concerns. This is a two hour consultation at your home or my office that consists of maternal and infant assessments and a breastfeeding evaluation.  A care plan will be created to meet the needs of you and your baby.

Returning to Work or School

Returning to work or school after the birth of your little one can be difficult. This one hour consultation will answer your questions about how to make this transition easier.  You will learn tips on pumping, upright paced bottle feeding, breast milk storage guidelines, how to communicate with your employer, how to communicate with your childcare provider and how to stay connected to your baby among many

other topics.
